Public Meeting Room
Groups wishing to reserve the library's meeting room(s) for public meetings or programs should refer to the library's Meeting Room Rental Agreement for information on types of meetings permitted and potential charges. The Agreement is in the process of being updated.
Through the Michigan eLibrary, patrons can borrow items from other libraries that SDL does not have in its collections. Patrons may place these orders by visiting elibrary.mel.org or asking at the reference desk.
Sturgis District Library has 22 computers available for public use. Patrons need only provide a valid ID or library card for a one-hour pass. Each computer is equipped with Microsoft Office programs, connected to the Internet, and able to print.
Patrons using the library's computers can print black and white copies at 15 cents per page.
Wireless Internet Access
Patrons can access the library's wireless internet throughout the building. There are multiple spaces for laptop use with outlets available.
A self-service copy machine is available for patron use. 8 1/2 x 11 in, legal size, and 11 x 17 paper sizes are available.

Domestic faxes can be sent at $1.00 per page; the charge for international faxes is $5.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each subsequent page. A cover sheet can be included at no additional cost.
Library staff can help patrons scan physical pages to PDF files. Prices are subject to change based on number/type of scans, ranging from 50 cents per page to 50 cents every two pages.
Small groups interested in basic computer usage training can be scheduled as needed. Interested parties should inquire by clicking the button below.
